Look out: it's time to warm up the new Freight floorboards with a Cajun dance party! While an Aux Cajunal performance is always an invitation to good times, tonight we're planning to push back the chairs and laissez les bon temps roulez!

Two true veterans of American roots music, Eric and Suzy Thompson, are joined by some prime musical cohorts to regale us with old-time Cajun and Creole dance music with heart, soul, and gusto. Eric and Suzy always offer a deep, rich repertoire, including material both contemporary and archaic, spanning selections from Suzy's collection of super-rare 78s and material learned directly from Cajun and Creole master musicians like Dewey Balfa, Danny Poullard, and Dennis McGee.

Front and center are Suzy's sizzling accordion and fiddle playing and powerful vocals and Eric's bluesy lead guitar, plus fiery fiddler Agi Ban. Add to the mix special guest Brandon Moreau, a fantastic young singer and fiddler born and raised in Basile, Louisiana (hometown of Dewey Balfa, Harry Choates, and many other legends of Cajun music), and you've got a combination guaranteed to knock everyone's socks off.
