They're back! Talented Bay Area musicians Keith Greeninger, Kimball Hurd, and Roger Feuer—also known as the acoustic trio, City Folk—reunite at the Freight for an evening of music that they describe as "folk in the traditional sense: music of and for the people."

City Folk toured throughout the country and recorded in the early 1990's, enjoying great popularity on the folk and americana circuits: many will remember the trio's signature three-part harmonies, intricate instrumental arrangements and engaging, honest, and socially conscious songs. Whether you're a fan from years past or simply an enthusiast of contemporary folk music, this original, innovative group is sure to inspire with a positively uplifting musical experience. Also on hand will be City Folk's re-mixed and mastered third album, In Another's Eyes.

Jazz inflected, urban folk singer and original song writer Steve Meckfessel, opens up the show with evocative chord progressions, haunting melodies and unadorned lyrics.
