The scintillating Cris Williamson sets the Freight aglow with holiday spirit in an evening of gorgeous music. Special guests Teresa Trull, Bonnie Hayes, and Vicki Randle (plus who knows who else!) join her in presenting original gems and plenty of seasonal good cheer: come join them! There's plenty to celebrate this year, including the recent release of Cris' CD blend of standard holiday-time favorites and originals, Winter Hearts.

Singer, songwriter, activist, and teacher of the "art of the possible," Cris brings her astounding voice to bear on a mixture of up-tempo tunes and poignant ballads, woven together from strands of folk, reggae, and lush pop. Cris transformed popular music in the mid-1970s, spearheading the blossoming women's music genre with The Changer and the Changed, the first of numerous acclaimed recordings.

A fiery vocal dynamo who combines a larger-than-life gospel/soul voice, a gutsy blues style, and topnotch songwriting talents, Teresa has released five albums, including a great duo recording with Cris (Country Blessed). Bonnie has written songs for artists as diverse as Bonnie Raitt, Adam Ant, and Cher; in her own performances she infuses each tune with uncompromising attitude: "I reject the idea that music has to be either smart or kickass—why not both?" Vicki is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and composer who has spent nearly two decades performing a dizzyingly eclectic mix of styles with the Tonight Show Band.
