In this dynamic workshop, find how Somatic Voicework (the Lovetri Method) can help you sing with power, control and freedom. Somatic Voicework is a body-based method of vocal training specifically designed for contemporary commercial music (jazz, pop, folk, rock, etc). It draws from many disciplines including classical singing, voice science and medicine, as well as movement and bodywork, and can help you improve breath control, expand your range, eliminate breaks, find a unique sound, and keep your voice strong and healthy.

Boston-based singer, songwriter and voice teacher Celia Slattery has performed for over 20 years in clubs, arts centers, and festivals from Boston to Bangkok. She is a certified teacher of Somatic Voicework, and a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). She has presented voice workshops at Passim School of Music, New England Conservatory Summer School, and New England Folk Alliance Conference.
