Duck BakerAward-winning fingerstyle guitarists  Duck Baker and Joe Miller present a far-flung evening of superlative music.
 
Duck is devoted to a wide range of musical styles, from traditional Irish and Appalachian fiddle tunes to ragtime, blues, gospel, swing, and modern jazz. Now residing in London, Duck has collaborated with numerous acclaimed musicians, from fingerpicking icons like Leo Kottke and jazz master Jamie Findlay to free music luminary Eugene Chadbourne and Irish fiddler Kieran Fahy.
 
Joe MillerJoe pairs stellar technique with a clever sense of humor in songs like "Racing Off to Yoga Class" and "Are You from Berkeley?", co-written with Duck. Playing a custom Gallagher "Doc Watson" model guitar, Joe performs at acoustic music festivals across the United States and Canada. He is a past winner of both the California State Flatpicking Championship and the National Fingerpicking Championship. Currently on the teaching staff at the Freight, he has collaborated with David Grisman, Peppino D'Agostino, and Tom Constanten of the Grateful Dead.
