Honolulu native Weldon Kekauoha grew up in a house filled with music, listening to old recordings from the 1950's and 60's and attending live performances at local watering holes with his grandmother. Folks like Weldon's uncle, "Little-Joe" Kekauoha, the Makaha Sons of Ni‘ihau, and Kekua Fernandez left an indelible mark on Weldon's own music.
