One unique aspect of our Open Mic is that, unlike those held in noisy
bars where people show up in spite of the fact that there's live music,
you will be playing to a supportive group of friends and performers who
are actually listening!!!
Dr. K not only knows what ails you, he got a cure on hand! Tonight, he brings to our stage three superlative—and superlatively fun—Bay Area bands for an evening of hard rockin Irish traditional music.
Don't miss an evening of interactive banjolity the likes of which have rarely been heard before, featuring two masters of the five-string instrument. Jody Stecher and Bill Evans combine their passionate lifelong fascination with the banjo in a concert that explores the diversity, excitement, charm, and history of one of America's most celebrated but misunderstood instruments.
Join us in celebrating the autumn spirit at Laurie Lewis' annual late November show, as Thanksgiving festivities combine with a musical feast like no other! Featuring songs new and old, including selections from her recent CD, Blossoms, Laurie performs folk classics such as "How Can I Keep From Singing" and Kate Wolf's "Unfinished Life".
There may be some limited standing room only tickets available once the show starts at 8:00 pm for $31.50.
