Urban Healing Tour presents Toy SoldierzToy Soldierz is a multimedia production that combines hip hop music, dance, spoken word, and film. Telling the true story of Devon Johnson, a high school student who lost his life in a shooting, the production deals with themes of teen violence and forgiveness in a special performance benefiting two non-profit organizations, Each One Reach One and Urban Healing Project.

UC Jazz Ensembles Tonight's concert showcases four outstanding student groups from the award-winning University of California Jazz Ensembles program. The evening progresses through three stellar combos, coached by the director of the program, Ted Moore, and faculty members Dann Zinn and Frank Martin, and concludes with the award-winning UC Jazz Big Band, under the direction of Steve Campos. The show features a wide-ranging assortment of jazz standards from traditional to modern.

Peggy SeegerThe daughter of composer Ruth Crawford Seeger and ethno-musicologist Charles Seeger, and sibling to Pete and Mike, Peggy Seeger grew up well schooled in American folk and European musical traditions. She learned to play piano, guitar, five-string banjo, autoharp, dulcimer, and concertina, and cut her first record at age 18.
