If you like singing in groups, this will be a fantastic evening for you. This 10th year anniversary celebration of In Harmony’s Way will be part concert and part community sing. Performances by Bay Area folk singers will be followed by a community sing in the lobby, with everyone invited to join in, and even lead a song if you want.


Tonight’s show will feature a wide variety of singers and songs, but all of the songs have been chosen so that YOU, the audience, will be singing, too!

Our Open Mic has brought in some of our brightest performers, including Shawn Colvin, Dana Carvey, Alvin Youngblood Hart, and Patrick Landeza. The audience is friendly – and people actually listen! An all acoustic group defying categorization, the San Francisco String Trio provides its audiences with a special musical experience that is both poignant and compelling.

The T Sisters, born and raised in California and now based in the creative hub of Oakland, embody harmony. It’s in their blood, bones, and history. Erika, Rachel and Chloe have been singing and writing music together since childhood, and the lifetime of practice shows.

The Capitol Steps are a group of Congressional staffers-turned-comedians who travel the States satirizing the very people and places that once employed them. Since 1981 they’ve dug into the headlines of the day, and created song parodies & skits with a special brand of satirical humor as popular in Peoria as on Pennsylvania Avenue.
