Formed in 2005 in the Bay Area, the band tackles everything from French hot jazz to wild Serbian and Transylvanian Gypsy anthems, Flamenco, and oddball originals, all of it held together by the stunning virtuosity and breakneck tempos of French violinist Fabrice Martinez, vocalist, violinist, and musical saw wizard Ursula Knudson, guitarist Doug Smolens, and bassist Djordje Stijepovic. Fishtank Ensemble's latest album is Woman in Sin.
