Music for Everyone. Come join us as we sing and play familiar folk tunes on a variety of instruments. You'll learn ensemble methods, meet new friends and have fun! Singers & instrumentalists are welcome. If you're looking for a place to make music, already know some chords, can keep time and hold your part, you're right for this group.

This inaugural session will focus on songs from the American Civil War period.  Expect spirituals, celtic tunes, cajun, and classic Americana.

DJ Hamouris has played mountain dulcimer since 1979 and taught it for the past decade. She has a BA in Music and gets excited about teaching music both privately & in classes. DJ currently directs the women's singing group Women & Song and plays in a folk duo, The DulciMates, with husband Buffalo.
