This concert will take songs from two seminal albums from the 1950's, Pete Seeger's American Industrial Ballads and the New Lost City Rambler's Songs From the Depression, and stich them with other songs, both new and old in a concert of both current and historic music. Matched with the old time songs, will be blues, klezmer, bluegrass, rock and roll, and many of Gerry's own songs as well as other contemporary writers.

Known for his work with one of the west coasts's leading klezmer bands, California Klezmer, Gerry also leads the bluegrass/Americana band The Lost Tribe. Tonight, he's joined by The Hard Times Orchestra, featuring Rick Elmore on trombone, Eric Thompson on guitar and mandolin, bassist David Laub, fiddler Sue Draheim, Neil Linden on banjo, and Leslie and Noah Tenney on vocals, plus special guests like guitarist Wade Blair.
