In Hani Naser Band's "in the now" performances, adventurous musicians from around the world mix their roots with contemporary rhythms and melodies, pushing each other past musical boundaries to a place that is rarely visited. Masters of improvisation, their jams are timeless and full of folklore.

Born in Jordan, a lifetime's immersion in rhythms and sounds from all parts of the world have resulted in the unique artistry of Hani, a master vocalist, oud player, and percussionist. An expert improviser at home in a multitude of musical styles, Hani has played with everyone from Los Lobos to the Violent Femmes to Hamza El Din, Jackson Browne and David Lindley.

In the band, Hani is joined by multi-instrumentalist Craig Eastman (Hans Zimmer, Ray Charles, Jennifer Warnes), Cuban drummer and percussionist Walfredo Reyes, Jr., Marc Mann on keyboards, guitar & vocals, Richard Hardy on woodwinds, and guitarist Tobi Hero.

In Hani's own words, "There is a universal rhythm that I am constantly trying to be in touch with. We are vibrations. Sometimes vibrations get out of sync. Music, I have found, brings back that balance."

Special guest, 12-string guitar virtuoso, Toulouse Englehardt opens the show.
