Please join the Jazzschool Youth Program's top high school ensembles for an evening featuring young musicians who will be the leading lights in the future of jazz.  The Downbeat Award-Winning Advanced High School Jazz Workshops I and II, led by Dr. Michael Zilber and Erik Jekabson, focus on small group playing, and the Downbeat Award-winning Jazzschool Studio Band, led by Dave Eshelman, focusses on large ensemble playing.  Both the Advanced Workshop I and the Studioband will be returning from performances at the Monterey Jazz Festival's Next Generation Festival the day before the concert so will be ready to go. Jazzschool Institute Orchestra

Jazzschool InstituteThe Jazzschool Institute offers a conservatory program devoted to the study and performance of jazz and related styles of music, fostering the artistic development of aspiring professional jazz musicians and building new audiences to sustain and promote the jazz art form. The institute integrates a comprehensive, progressive undergraduate education program taught by world-class musicians and music educators, preparing the next generation for a fulfilling life in the dynamic world of the performing arts.
