This year we're pulling out all the stops at Laurie Lewis' annual late November show, as Thanksgiving festivities combine with a celebration showcasing her soon-to-be-released CD, Blossoms. Folk classics such as "How Can I Keep From Singing" and Kate Wolf's "Unfinished Life;" and gorgeous Laurie originals, including "The Roughest Road," "Here Today," and "Chains of Letters" mix harmoniously with the able assitance of mandolinist and singer, Tom Rozum, fiddler Chad Manning, banjo ace Patrick Sauber, bassist Andrew Conklin, Oakland's Tietjen Sisters on vocals, fiddler Suzy Thompson, and other special guests.

Native Berkeleyite Laurie's songwriting, fiddling, and crystal-clear singing have brought her national recognition, a Grammy, and two International Bluegrass Music Association Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year. Through her many band and solo outings, Laurie has become a key figure in bluegrass, traditional, and folk music circles. Tom adds masterful mandolin, mandola, guitar, vocal talent and his own particular brand of wry humor.

Make sure you join Laurie, Tom & Co. for plenty of heart-lifting music to warm the spirit as the year turns toward winter.
