Join us in celebrating the autumn spirit at Laurie Lewis' annual late November show, as Thanksgiving festivities combine with a musical feast like no other! Featuring songs new and old, including selections from her recent CD, Blossoms, Laurie performs folk classics such as "How Can I Keep From Singing" and Kate Wolf's "Unfinished Life". Gorgeous originals like "The Roughest Road" and "Chains of Letters" blend harmoniously with the able assistance of mandolinist and singer, Tom Rozum, fiddler Chad Manning, banjo ace Patrick Sauber, and bassist Andrew Conklin. Joining in will be special guests, Oakland's own T Sisters (Erika, Chloe and Rachel Tietjen).

Native Berkeleyite Laurie's songwriting, fiddling, and crystal-clear singing have brought her national recognition, a Grammy, and two International Bluegrass Music Association Awards for Female Vocalist of the Year. Through her many band and solo outings, Laurie has become a key figure in bluegrass, traditional, and folk music circles. Tom adds masterful mandolin, mandola, guitar, vocal talent and his own particular brand of wry humor.

Make sure you join Laurie, Tom & Co. for plenty of heart-lifting music to warm the spirit as the year turns toward winter.
