Learn about chord progressions, scales, the Circle of Fifths, and what scales go with what chords. Taking this class will improve your ability to play songs, to compose, to improvise, and to communicate with other musicians. Get past the plateau to a new level of musicianship.
Joe Miller has performed at acoustic music festivals across the U S and Canada. He has studied with many music teachers, including classical guitarist Bill Trotter in Toronto, and sitarist Nikhil Banerjee. Over the last 30 years he has taught thousands of music students in the Bay Area, and played with David Grisman, Duck Baker, and Peppino D'Agostino.
A past winner of both the California State Flatpicking Championship and the National Fingerpicking Championship, he has released 2 CD's of instrumental music. His music is available from ITunes and CD Baby, and can be heard on Pandora.com.
