Freight favorites Robin Flower and Libby McLaren regale us with their modern Celtic americana style in an evening of exhilarating instrumentals, tight vocal harmonies, creative energy, and loads of fun.

Robin's agile fiddle, mandolin, and guitar, and Libby's high-energy grooves on piano and accordion (and great vocals from both of them) are backed tonight by a red-hot band featuring bassist Jan Martinelli, Danny Carnahan on fiddle, bouzouki, guitar, and vocals, and percussionist Peter Maund.

Robin and Libby redefine the boundaries of contemporary folk music with their fusion of original songs and musical traditions from distant corners of the world. "Roaring from delicate to powerhouse, their music is moving, fun, and dazzlingly imaginative," says indie-music. com. Tonight they'll draw on material from their latest CD Twenty Years · Twenty Rivers, which Ronnie Gilbert calls "a musical marriage made in heaven." Robin and Libby brew a magic elixir combining their trademark tight arrangements, joix de vivre, and innovative Celtic scat singing for an evening not to be missed!
