Shay & Michael BlackTonight's double-bill offers listeners an impressive array of traditional Irish music from Shay & Michael Black and Three Mile Stone. Dublin-born Shay & Michael Black, give us the Black Brothers "unplugged." This intimate acoustic performance drawing on their fabulous repertoire of songs interspersed with stories, jokes, and humorous childhood anecdotes, is sure to leave listeners smiling broadly and humming new choruses. Three Mile Stone—Erin Shrader (fiddle), Marla Fibish (mandolin), and Richard Mandel (guitar)—create a new standard for innovative traditional Irish music, which Dan Gabel of Acoustic Guitar Magazine calls, "purely excellent acoustic music by three monster players. Three Mile StoneDo yourself a favor and dig into to Three Mile Stone!" Their repertoire, a melding of familiar tunes and odd ones, includes driving reels, lively jigs, and catchy polkas from Ireland, not to mention a smattering of Quebequois.

While each band will perform its own set, these longtime musical compatriots are sure to mix it up together, for a fabulous potpourri of the best in vocal and instrumental Irish song.
