A stand-out among the adventurous new generation of Canadian roots music bands, this trio of singer-songwriters makes powerful, lush music that resonates deep in the soul. With the emphasis on their beautiful three-part harmonies, Ruth Moody, Nicky Mehta, and Heather Masse weave their voices and instruments into a shimmering tapestry of original and traditional tunes. Intelligent, dynamic stories and vivid imagery abound in their songs, which run the gamut of roots styles, from classic and contemporary folk to Celtic roots and country, with a few surprising covers thrown in for good measure.

Starting as a happy accident of solo singer/songwriters getting together for a one-time-only performance at a tiny guitar shop in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the band has become one of today’s most beloved international folk acts. Founding members Ruth and Nicky, along with New York-based Masse create critically acclaimed music and thrill sold out crowds with their renowned live performances around the world. Their albums Firecracker and Live at Mauch Chunk Opera House each spent more than a year on the Billboard bluegrass charts.
